Special Education Program

Our program provides special classes for preparation of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation for those students of the parish who are older than 2nd grade. We also provide a special education class for those children who are in need of special teaching methods in order to bring them a better understanding of the love Jesus has for all His children.

Consultative Teacher Program

In a special document entitled Letter to Families, Pope John Paul II wrote: Parents are the first and most important educators of their own children, and they also possess a fundamental competence in this area: they are educators because they are parents”.

Within our program , we utilize a consultative teacher model instead of having a volunteer teach the student directly. This empowers parents to teach faith topics one on one to their children since they know best how to communicate with their children and check for comprehension and growth.

Our staff resident expect holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education/Special Education and the experience to research and develop the program to help instruct parents on teaching their kids faith topics. This program will look like a mix of check-ins, office hours, and guided unique curriculum plans to meet the needs and expectations for each individual student and family.
