Dear Parents of Second Grade Religious Ed Students,
As your child's teacher this year, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mary Ellen Costello, and I am very excited for this upcoming school year. Second grade is a special year in the lives of your children. First Reconciliation and First Communion are true milestones on the road to vibrant and life-long Catholics.
My husband Mark and I have been parishioners at St. Robert Bellarmine for seventeen years. We have seven children ranging in age nineteen to thirty-three. We also have two granddaughters, Maeve and Lucy. Our full and happy life has the Catholic faith at its core. We have been so blessed to be given this most special gift. I have been a substitute teacher here at St. Roberts for the past twelve years. I am very familiar with the school and its staff and procedures as well as its facilities and incredible educational opportunities.
Our first semester of instruction will be centered around First Reconciliation, which will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Our second semester will center around First Holy Communion, which will be on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
