Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee supports the Pastor and serves St. Robert’s members and its many organizations, committees, and ministries by encouraging all members of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish to grow as stewards and disciples of Jesus Christ by facilitating commitments of God given time and talent, as well as financial and spiritual treasure.  The main goals of the Stewardship Committee is to welcome, to invite, and to support parishioners in becoming  involved, nourished, strengthened, and renewed in the spirit of sharing, in belonging, and in serving others.  Quarterly committee meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of the months of September, January, April and July.  All members are asked to serve on one subcommittees.  Time commitment varies by project (average of three to four hours a month).

Sub-Committees:

Website and Publications Committee

Website: This committee is responsible for the following: maintaining the stewardship section/landing page of the website, assisting in the management of the website’s photo gallery, articles, and scrolling text, posting opportunities (through pictures or articles) to become Christian Stewards and Disciples of Christ. This committee would teach and assist other groups and organizations to maintain individual landing pages for they own organization or ministry and teacher members of the parish classes on How to Use the Website.

Publication: This committee is responsible for the creation of publications focusing on established themes related to parish liturgical timelines and major parish events.  Publications would feature stewardship in action within Saint Robert’s.   The intent of this committee is to encourage others to become involved in parish and community ministries, the liturgy, prayer groups, and parish life.

Parish Special Events & Welcoming Committee

Special Events:  This committee is responsible for promoting participation, involvement and ownership of families and individuals in their parish. They plan and prepare special events and receptions to inform and encourage parish spirituality and service within the parish and the community.

Welcoming: This committee is responsible for welcoming new individuals and families to Saint Robert’s Parrish.  Their role is to serve, to invite, to introduce, and to inform new parishioners about Saint Robert’s and its many opportunities for stewardship.  Members will contact and host a welcoming Mass and reception for new members throughout the year.
