Speaker's Bureau

In 2007, the St. Robert's Pastoral Council set out to develop a Speakers' Bureau.  Recognizing that there are many interesting people in the parish and that there are organizations that include speakers in various events throughout the year, the council decided to aid in bringing the two together. The Speakers Bureau is a work in progress and we appreciate your input.

How to use the Speakers Bureau

Click on each speakers' name (click here for list) and you will see a brief biography and list of topics available.

If you are interested in having a speaker from the St. Robert's Speakers Bureau appear at one of your meetings or events, simply contact the speaker directly, using the contact information provided.  By contacting the speaker directly, it is easier to schedule the talk based on both of your schedules.

Some speakers require a stipend or donation while others do not.  This can also be discussed when you contact the speaker you are interested in.

How to become a speaker for the Speaker Bureau

If you are interested in being included in the St. Robert's Speakers Bureau, contact any member of the Parish Council.  We will ask that you create a brief bio that includes your name, contact information, your qualifications and topics of interest.  We would also like your photo for the website.  You can email the information and your picture to d.bristol@cox.net.

We are looking for a variety of topics, so if you have an interesting hobby, enjoy lightheaded topics or have a serious issue to discuss, feel free to contact us.  Not all speakers are members of St. Robert's parish, so all are welcome to submit their information.  Not all topics or speakers will be appropriate for our Speakers Bureau, so we reserve the right to refuse speakers based on content or other factors.

Thank you for your interest.  If you have any questions, contact Sue Bristol at (402) 614-7096.
