The Technology Committee provides counsel and advice on issues related to communications and information technology throughout the parish and school. It works with parish leadership and staff to provide advice, vision, and guidance concerning communications, infrastructure and equipment, long range planning, and current problems. This group meets one hour on Thursday evenings every 3 months.
Money counters provide accurate counts of all Sunday and Holy Day financial contributions made through the church offertory, prepare receipts for deposit, and post contributions to the parish records. They safeguard receipts during the sorting and counting process and assure accuracy of receipts and record-keeping.
All volunteers in the parish that will be working with children 18 years of age and younger must be Safe Environment certified. Safe Environment classes are offered through the Archdiocese of Omaha. For more information, click on the link below or contact Debbie Marcil.
Certification for Volunteers & Employees Home
Volunteers patrol the St. Robert’s parking lot in their cars during Masses and special occasions. The objective is to deter crime and protect parishioners and visitors. Volunteers patrol for two-hour shifts in pairs using their cars marked with magnetic signs and a flashing roof light. Each volunteer contributes two hours of service two or three times each year (announced a week in advance in the church bulletin).
Vendor’s software is used to compile and format the parish bulletin each week before it is published. We transcribe copy, announcements, and information of interest to parishioners that promotes the work of the parish and its many ministries and groups as well as events and services in the community.
