Our volunteer young adult coordinators are excited to welcome you to the SRB Young Adult Community!

Lauren Lier

Hello! My name is Lauren Lier (m. Dahlquist). I am a parishioner here at St. Roberts and a grade school graduate as well. I currently work at Nebraska Medicine as a nurse and I am in graduate school to obtain my doctorate in nursing and become a nurse practitioner. I recently married my now-husband, Aaron. Together, we have three nieces and two nephews. We hope to travel for a couple years and our current plans include traveling to Colorado, Yosemite National Park, Zion National Park and LA. We're a big fan of fall, family time, and holidays. We look forward to the opportunity to get to know more people and build a community within the parish!

Nikki Scheisman

My name is Nikki Schleisman.  I grew up in the small Iowa town of Carroll where I attended Kuemper Catholic Schools from preschool through high school. I came to Omaha to attend Creighton University for my nursing degree. In 2015, I married my high school sweet heart, Andrew Schleisman.  We loved our time at Creighton and Omaha so much that we have decided to stay.  We appreciate the opportunities Omaha has in store for our careers, but most of all, we love the small community feel that is palpable here.  I work as a nurse at Nebraska Medicine and am slowly working on my doctorate of nursing practice in hopes to be a nurse practitioner. Andrew is a pharmacist. We don’t have any human children yet--just our beloved dog, Mac.  When we aren’t working, we enjoy spending time with friends, traveling home to see our families back in Iowa where we have 5 nieces and nephews, reading, and enjoying God’s outdoor creation. We are new parishioners of St. Roberts and are looking forward to cultivating new community here!
